North Toronto Group of Artists
The **North Toronto Group of Artists** (NTGA) is an artist-run and artist-led cooperative made up entirely of volunteers committed to showcasing local fine art and fostering community connections. With over 50 members, NTGA features artists working across various mediums, including painting, photography, mixed media, and encaustic.
The NTGA organizes two major events each year — the Spring and Fall Fine Art Tour and Sales — members display their work within the neighbourhood to make art accessible and foster personal connections between artists and visitors. These free events encourage community engagement and provide opportunities to purchase unique, original artwork directly from local creators. Beyond exhibitions, members contribute to the community by donating their work to local businesses and offering art lectures.
Artists participating in NTGA must live within specific geographic boundaries in North Toronto, spanning from Wilson Avenue to Eglinton Avenue, and from Avenue Road to Mount Pleasant Road. This focus ensures the group stays rooted in its local community, promoting neighborhood talent and culture.
